Is this the same Ted Hayes who condemned America for the atrocities commited against Native Americans and wanted to return all the land to the Indians? USA All The WAy! how sad to see this aging lost black man who at a younger age tried to find the truth and now goes about saying such racist comments.I will pray for you Ted and maybe you will seek the truth and remove yourself from this run with the devil.

    Hello Demonchaser…Shalom in Jerusalem,

Wow! I sleep very well at night…often each afternoon I have a ciesta. How about you?

The Holy Hebrew Scripture says of me, that The LORD Gives HIS Beloved sleep. I am one of HIS Beloveds. Are you? I hope so!

And in the Proverbs of the wise, Israelite- Hebrew prophet King Solomom, “When you lay down, you shall not be afraid: Yeah, you shall lay down, and your sleep shall be sweet.” Proverbs 3:24

You know you’re right in many aspects about this incredible and unprecedented governmental entity known as the United States of America, that indeed, its’ flag – Ole’ Glory is stained with blood as is the flags of all nations.

Please, name some nations whose flags do not have the stains of blood.

Now, I am working on somethings to address those bloody stains, not only of the USA, but of all nations, races, ethnicities, and peoples’ throughout the world and of all generations beginning with the first in recorded history, popularly known as Babylon….located in modern day Iraq…my origins. (* Please check out the Book of Genesis chapters 10 & 11 if you have the daringness to do so)

I will give you a small and deliberately allusive hint as to the tool that I am using to address generational responsibility…REPARATIONS.

    Now back to the USA.

Despite how it got here, or what it has done to get here, like it or not, the United States with its “blood stained” RED-WHITE-BLUE flag is here, with all its bad deeds and good ones.

Please tell me, what is your plan to resolve this matter?

Can you do anybetter? Please let me know.

Funny, that you will condemn my country for its wrongs, but yet, you are here in it, reaping all kinds of wonderful benefits, that according to you would be “blood stained”.

You need to get out of this “blood stained”, before you become guilty of its’ deed as well.

Now tell me, don’t you think that you are being a bit hypocritical.

    By the way…”APOCALYTO”

How are you willing to accept the bloody, human sacrifice tradition of the Mesoamerican peoples that they committed aginst each other, until that blood thirsty, European, Roman Catholic, Spanish speaking, swashbuckling, Spaniard Conquistador, Hernan Cortez put a brutal end to it. HUH?!? Whassup?

    I am waiting your response.

In the meantime, my GOD Bless you and all the Mesoamerican peoples into sanity and prosperity.

Thanks for you insightful comments and interest. Keep up the good work!

    Seeeeeeeee yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

    Hello Lifelaidown…Shalom in Jerusalem,

Dude or Dudette, whatever the case may be….their is cosmic law in life called “growing-up” or maturity.

Supposedly, the older one gets the more wiser and practical one becomes.

Woe be to the human being that remains unchanged since child hood.

As youths, being frustrated with a complex world that we did not cause, we tend to quickly, passionately, articulately, elloquently, and ignorantly rant and rave, often correctly about what we see as wrong.

By shear nature we are not able to provide answers that which deem as wrong. However, we are exellent with cliches’ such as “Peace now” or “Give Peace a chance” or “Open borders” or “Bring the troops home now” or even condemnation for governmental officials.

Yet, we have no practical answers for those things we as youths tend to criticise.

I like you and all youths, was the same, quick to criticise, but slow on answers to my criticism.

That is one reason why I was driven into being an activist for the Homeless.

However, even being an activist, I found that it is easy to criticise the government, the religious missions and other social services, the Black or African American leadership….however, with help of a lot of friends, I had to come up with some practical answers for homeless peoples, i.e. the Dome Village, the most advanced to homelessness in the modern western world; and of course, the National Homeless Plan, which I am presently negotiating with the government to implement. (* See Domevillage.org click onto “A Plan To End Homelessness)

Now when you get tired of shouting cliches’ and finally understand and grasp what it is that I am talking about, please come and work with me on resolving homelessness. My group can sure use your smarts in this matter.

Until then, please go and learn what racism is. Stop using that word incorrectly. You demean its’ natural power.

Thank you for your comments and wise insights.

I look forward to hearing from your young self soon.

    GOD Is Blessing you richly,

    Shalom,

    Seeeeeeeeeee yaaaaaaaaaasaaaaaaaaaaaa!

racism is racism Senor Hayes and not matter how much you wish to tone in down or eliminate it’s use with your movement, it is still the system of policy of enforcing asserted rights , the right to rule others, our government and society is based upon it. Study closely the history of the United States. You cannot interweave the fabric of your bible and the need to orchestrate patriotism to a successful outcome. You have lost your way un poco rabino. Born and breed hear in the US so don’t make assumptions. Try to habla un espanol and maybe the heart will be revealed.

nothing natural about the power of racism

  • tedhayes // March 27, 2007 at 10:08 am

    Hello Junkbilly…Shalom in Jerusalem,

    Thanks for the quick “get-back”.

Indeed racism is racism. However, I don’t have to try and “tone it down” as you say, because I have not use it…ever!

Apparently, you don’t know anything about my racial history. I strongely suggest that you do so, lest you be proven simple minded. It is bad enough that you are genuinely igorant of my long relations with the Mesoamerican community in particular. One example it the internationally renown Cricket team The Compton Homie & the POPz.

Look! At this time, I am not going to go into details about my many relationships with the Meso community…my computor is about to go down for repairs, etc.

However, I will say that you need to study racism against Black peoples not onlyl in the United States, but Europe, Central and South America, and on other continents.

In fact, history teaches that while only 10% of the Black West African Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade went into North America – USA, while 90% of my Black ancestors were taken into Mesoamerica and South America by White, European, Roman Catholic, Spanish speaking, Spaniard and White, European, Roman Catholic, Portuguese Speaking Portuguese. Whasssup wit dat?

Furthermore, racism by Meso and South American towards Blacks is rampant through their societies.

In fact, more research and studies are proving that American Black US Citizens are falling victim to what many deam as “Latino racism” against Blacks that originate in Mesoamerica, particularly Mexico. Whaasssup wit dat?

Furthermore, even former US Secretary of HUD and former Mayor of San Antonio, Mr. Henry Cisneros (* who visited with me at the Dome Village about 1 month after it was opened in 1993) has warned that if Latino violence and ethnic cleansing is not abated, it will destroy Los Angeles. Whaaaassup?????

    Why is it that whenever I and other Blacks have a demonstration simply to express our political opinions conerning illegal “immigration”, that Mesoamerican people call me Nigger, Black Nigger, White man’s Nigger, Uncle Tom, Mayatta; White Nigger in a Black body;

They shout at us Blacks, “go back to Africa, this ain’t your land” etc.

From young to old, Mesoamericans given us the “middle-finger” and have threatened to “cut yo m-Fing throats” and “kick yo m-Fing ass” etc.

They were terrorist masks, fly more communist flags than Mexican, etc.

They desecrate our American Ole’ Glory flag by burning it, spitting on it, dragging it through the street gutters, and tearing it in pieces.

They throw bottles, rocks and spit at us.

I nor any of my American citizen fellows, Black, White, Brown, Red or Yellow conduct ourselves towards them in such dispicable manners.

When we catch it, we rebuke the perpetrators and even remove them from our midst.

Example: At the March 25th Civil Rights march in downtown, one of our guys began to taunt the “other side of the field” debate, I warned that if he did not stop it, that I would citizen arrest him by the force of LAPD, even as I had Miguel Angel Guzman citizens arrested for taunting us.

Right is right and wrong is wrong!

Hey, my apologies, but I have to go now. Please forgive my long diatribe here. Its just that I enjoy the opportunity to teach inquiring minds such as yours.

Please stay beatiful and let us continue our discussions.

Hopefully, the next time we speak about GOD, the Bible, Patriotism, US History, Mesoamerican History, Spanish History, West African and Ancient Middle Eastern History, etc.

Like it or not, GOD Is ‘Blessing you,

    Sincerely with Love,

un poco rabino (* not really) thanks for the compliment, but I am no rabbi nor “holy person” as such, or minister, etc. I am just a mere broken man simply trying through all my frailties to do good in the world on this earth while I can.

    Helle Leftright…Shalom in Jerusalem,

Why is that you have to resort to calling me deragatory names?

Have I called you such negatie things?

Is this the way that your parent brought you up?

Do you call your mother and father nasty names when you disagree with them over an issue?

I am fifty six (56) years old (as of March 9,2007), my hair is grey with wisdom. It is in your best interest to show some modicum of respect and decency.

I have four adult children in late twenties and early thirties, and two grand daughers, one thirteen and the other two and a half.

How would you like it if some body spoke in such ways to and about you parents or grandparents?

For your sake, please refrain name calling anyone. It is a bad habit to get stuck in.

Now of course, if you meant “knucklehead” as loving term of endearment, I will accept the warm thoughts that you have towards me, even as I have towards you.

In meantime, please check out my note to Junkbilly.

    Thanks again for the dialogue.

Like it or not GOD Is Blessing you,

    Ted Hayes
    “Knucklehead”

  • leftright // March 28, 2007 at 6:21 am

how does your family feel about the many years of non support when “god” told you to become homeless? you have no idea what respect means..we respect those we bring to this planet by taking care of them…like so many young men, abandonement of family in some communities is much more prevalent.

  • tedhayes // March 28, 2007 at 6:44 am

    Hello Leftright…Shalom in Jerusalem,

You know, it is very telling how you tend to not address the issues of concern, but rather seek to attack my personal life. Shame on you!

Your behavior exposes exactly what kind of person you actually are.

You are like someone getting their butt whipped in a “fist-fight” and then resort to throwing sand and dirt into the face of the “butt-whuppa” in order to get an unfair advantage.

Frankly, you reveal your weakness on the issues by hitting “below the belt”. Yes, though I am strong and can take it and recover, it still hurts.

I suppose that that is your only intent…not to actually assist your poor and oppressed peoples as I have done for many years and will continue to do so.

When are you going to comment on what I said to you. Perhaps you won’t because you know that your cause is futile and wrong and your are ignorant of the issues.

You are simply responding emotionally. You are out of your class when it come to even attempting to debate or dialogue with me.

Therefore, I will continue to seek to teach the ways of real life on this earth.

Nevertheless, if you must must get nosey into my personal life, what I do with my family, and what GOD Has to say about it….behold…

Jesus Christ says to His followers…”Seek first the Kingdom of GOD and all these things shall be added to you.” Matthew 6:33

“And everyone that has forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake, shall recieve an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.” Matthew 19:29

My family loves me and I love them. Admittedly, I have hurt them. It has taken many years to heal. However, I have always supported my family to best of my ability and remained in constant contact with them.

    GOD Has richly Blessed us.

    What about your loved ones?

How are they? Please greet them for me.

I wish you and them all the best in the LORD.

I await your response. Keep up your good works!

    Love,

    Ted Hayes

  • tedhayes // March 28, 2007 at 6:47 am

    Hello Smyrna…Shalom in Jerusalem,

I am going to respond to you as soon as i learn what you said to me in the language of the European, Spaniard, Roman Catholic, Conquistadors of Mesoamerica.

Thanks for your patience with me.

    Ted

  • splitter // March 28, 2007 at 11:01 am

It appears Mr. Hayes has admitted his mistake in hurting his family by abandoning them, yet tries to justify his actions by using scripture. How sad so many conveniently use the morass of translations from the bible to, on one hand excuse themselves from their responsibilities and then on the other try to double talk their way to salvation. I doubt Mr. Hayes would know what a real fist-fight is all about, even though he is fully aware of unfair advantage. Let us all pray for Mr. Hayes and his estranged family and maybe he will release himself from this obvious deception which has befallen him.

  • amigo // March 29, 2007 at 6:48 am

Senor Hayes ,Que dia tan bueno!
Otro dia tienen que venir Mexico observe the poor and down trodden. You consider this administration and country as a country that god has blessed and commands from. You believe Bush is doing god’s will. Jesus helped the poor and downtrodden. As the dominate christain nation you would have to agree it is our obligation to help the poor and downtrodden in Mexico. Tell me Senor Hayes, what have you done to HELP the poor and downtrooden in Mexico. I pray that god is blessing you, but then again the lord moves in mysterious ways.

  • leftover // March 29, 2007 at 12:03 pm

maybe ted will wakeup and smell the coffee…I am sure when the next administration, surely to be democrats, comes into power ted will be changing his position again…or at least softening it..just like Farrakhan and the nation of islam keeping quiet…which ever way the wind blows often dictates the policy of those dependent upon it for their survival….I wonder if ted would reveal his work history and his source of income? maybe selling the domes is generating some income…hey ted, how do u support yourself?

  • tedhayes // March 29, 2007 at 12:52 pm

    Hello Leftover…Shalom in Jerusalem,

Thank you for your comments. I do appreciate them, even if I don’t like them.

So you are “sure” twice in one sentence. Let’s see now…You “sure” the democrats will win the White House in 2008 and “sure” that I will be changing my postion, because “like Farrakhan…which ever the way the wind blows often dictates the policy of those dependent upon it for their survival…”

There is nothing wrong with moving with the wind, especially when you travel to far away places and discover ventures. Of course, sometimes you have utilize the wind by sailing directly into it. Do you understand that concept.

My work history dates way back to when I was a teen working in US military army commissaries baggin grocies for tips, mess halls, waxing and buffing office floors all at Aberdeen Proving Grounds Maryland; in my early teens I did baby sitting and sheveing snow; colecting recycleable bottles. Also during this time I served my country as a Boy Scout.

Also, in my late teens I worked construction.

Then I was a hippie for a while, and a so-called Black militant later.

After hitchiking to Southern California, Riverside, and thank GOD, later having a sudden and unexpected run-in with the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ, I served several years as what I thought was a Christian minster, I was wrong…about the minsister part that is.

Later, I became a roofer for several years and even made several attempts at owning roofing companies.

Later, I had an auto detail business for a few years.

When I was unemployed, I was for a while on public assistance.

I also, attempted an entertainment business of Hip-Hop Rap and Break dancing.

However, I must admit, that my business failed because I am not a good capitalist business manager. Often, I wish that I was.

Unfortunately, I did not pay close attention to my high scholl classes in economics.

While deliberating dwelling in the streets of Los Angeles serving the homeless and seeking and developing a plan to end homelessness, I lived literally with fellows hand-to-mouth.

Shortly before and after Dome Village for the Homeless began I recieved a small salary from Justiceville/Homeless USA (JHUSA).

Around 1995, we (JHUSA) was contracted and funded by HUD (US Housing Urban Development Department) via LAHSA (Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority), with a salary of around thirty thousand dollars ($30,000) annually.

Since the closure of Dome Village we have an extended special temporary government contract of around $2,740 a month which ends June 30. Hopefully, we can get another temporary contract until until we can build up a more private business arrangement.

Also, if you want to examine my books and that of JHUSA, you certainly are welcomed to do so. In fact, I would encourage to you have a “look-see”. Just contact me at Tedhayes@domevillage.org and you can either come to my office or meet with my accountant and I, he or we will be more glad to show our books. Just let me know when you are ready.

Yes, we did sell most of our 20 foot domes. We have four left for sale. One, we will keep.

The vast majority of the proceeds from those sales went towards paying bills, employing homeless to dismantle the village, and place the residue of village residents into other housing sources.

Have I answered you questions suffiently. I hope so. If not, please forgive. Just let me know where I have fallen short of your demands, and I will do all that I can to accomodate you.

Finally, when it comes to supporting Presidents of the United States…most of my life have supported all US Presidents, even when I didn’t like them or disagreed with them.

Of all the Presidents that I have lived under in short 56 years of life on this planet, the only President the I publicly spoke negatively of was
the Honorable Richard M. Nixon. I did that because I was ignorant.

While I may disagree with policies or even actions of public figures, I believe that it is wrong to speak evily of them, from mayors to President.

When the Honorable William Jefferson Clinton was President of the USA, I strongly supported his Balkans policies, and other issues that he found himself in.

In fact, I felt that the treatment that he recieved at the hands of Republicans concerning his affair with Ms. Monica Lowenski was unjust. However, he was careless and got himself further into trouble when attempted to lie about the situation. I truly felt for him.

So if a democrat does win the Presidency as you are so sure that it will be so, I will support that person. At least if I do have a difference with that President, I will not public treat him/her as many folks have disgracefully treated the Honorable George W. Bush.

I suppose I feel this way about the American Presidency, because the the Holy Scriptures teaches me to, and secondly, I have alway had desires to serve the USA as President myself, even from childhood. And who know, pehaps it could happen someday.

And if I was the President, I would appreciate folks disagreeing with me in an intellegent non-name calling way.

I hope that I have opened my heart and soul to you enough that we can abandon my personal life issues and get to discusssing the matters that I have addressed in previous writings on Word Press.

Thank you for questions and continued interests in my life and the work that I do…hopefully for all humankind.

    Love always,

    Ted Hayes

hard work is the answer for successful business…high school classes are just common sense….the most industrious and most successful business men in our capitalist history didn’t even have a high school diploma…what they did have was a dedication to hard, every day work…back breaking, arduous labor that often left them discouraged….but they persisted even when they were at the end of their rope…quitters and lazy people never reach their goals…they are the first to blame lack of something or being disadvantaged as the reason for their failures, as far as work goes…and remember-the early bird gets the worm! what no military service? unless you fiqure boyscouts as service…
